The vaccinations are very effective and give infants power to resist contagious and serious health conditions. This will protect the babies against many diseases such as tetanus, diphtheria, cough and polio.

Polio vaccination. Polio vaccination is given to infant along with the triple vaccine. It is given three times by mouth.

Smallpox vaccination. It helps the body associate immunity to smallpox. It is made by “vaccinia” virus. It is very effective to fight against smallpox. It is not given with a hypodermic needle. It is given between the ages of one month to three months. It is given lower abdominal wall, soles of the feet, upper arms and sides of the thighs.

Typhoid vaccination. Typhoid vaccination helps to protect against typhoid fever. It can be given at any age and given as a single dose. There are two types of typhoid vaccine—Vi antigen vaccine and Oral ty21a vaccine.

Vi antigen vaccine is available as 0.5 ml containing syringes. And ty21a oral vaccine is available in the form of capsules. Mainly it is given to infant after one year old.

BCG vaccination. BCG stands for Bacillus Calmette-Guerin. It is given by injection to protect against tuberculosis. Usually, it is given to new born baby, but it can be given to adults and teenagers who have tuberculosis. It is giver over the left arm and do not uses antiseptic before apply BCG vaccine.

Triple vaccination. Triple vaccination is safe to vaccinate infants and children against mumps, measles and rubella. It can be given to infants after the one month old, in three doses. all three diseases spread from one person to another person. Postponed the vaccination, in case of infants suffer from cold, diarrhea, cough, skin rashes and fever. It is important to vaccinate the infants to avoid many serious health conditions.

Measles Vaccination. Measles vaccination is recommended to infants, adolescents and child. It is helpful of protect against measles (typical fever). It can be given over the arm and on the sides of thigh. If patient take it for long term, then it has some side effects of measles vaccine such as swelling, fever, cold, and cough. It can be given with some specific vaccines, but it can not give along with BCG.
